About Cycle Mews

Cycle Mews is the home storage brand of The Bike Storage Company Ltd. We have designed, supplied and installed commercial cycle storage since 2014. Cycle Mews brings the same high-quality design standards and the same installation teams to the front of London houses.

Who we are

The Bike Storage Company is based at Chelsea Design Centre, London and builds cycle storage, street furniture and end-of-trip facilities for developers, architects and public bodies. Its work includes The Shard, Battersea Power Station, Transport for London and McLaren to name but a few.

Cycle Mews takes that experience home: bike, bin, buggies and garden storage made for the spaces London houses actually have — the strip inside the front wall, the recess beside the bay, the side return, and the front wall itself.

How we build

Every unit is built to our own designs and specifications in powder-coated 2mm mild steel and finished in Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016), Signal White (RAL 9003), Pale Green (RAL 6021), Jet Black (RAL 9005) or any RAL colour with a host of timber and other cladding options. We design around your space rather than a catalogue size: Mews One and Mews Return come in standard sizes, while Mews Bay and Mews Boundary are drawn for each property. We can always make something to fit your exact space and requirements.

Who installs it

We install everything ourselves. Our own installation teams fit every unit, typically in 2 days, and the 10-year manufacturing guarantee is signed off on site when the job is finished.

How it works

  1. Free survey. We measure the space, look at your actual bikes and check access, the ground and the electrical supply.
  2. Drawings and a fixed price. Scaled drawings of your unit and a price that does not move.
  3. Planning, if you need it. We prepare and manage the application for you. Read how planning works for front gardens.
  4. Order and deposit. A 50% deposit when you confirm your order, paid by Stripe invoice, with the balance paid 2 weeks before installation.
  5. Built and installed. Built to your approved drawings and fitted by our own team.
